for take customer to shuttle or parking lot. If takes the shuttle go out of the building. Proceed to wait
the shuttle to Liberia main office and find the enterprise desk. The shuttle is shared with
National and Alamo and comes at 5 minute intervals. After baggage claim find an Enterprise

comes at 5 minute intervals. Customer should return the car at Liberia office and then take the shuttle to
airport. Not return car at the airport. Shuttle service each 5 minute interval.
All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements.
Additional drivers must appear at the rental counter with the primary renter.
Additional drivers must sign the rental agreement.
An additional daily fee may apply for any Additional Drivers.
The additional driver can only be added to the contract at the pick up location.

Minimum age to rent a vehicle is 21 and the maximum is 75. Rental rate may be higher for renters and additional drivers under the age of 25.
Unrestricted Driving in Costa Rica. Renters wishing to visit Nicaragua or Panama must prearrange at time of rental for a vehicle exchange at the border. A three -3- day minimum notice is required. Customers can only rent the following vehicles- CCMR, CDMR, CCAR, CDAR and IFMR. Upon vehicle exchange at the border, the original agreement is closed and a second rental agreement is issued by the other country -same rate is applied-. A vehicle exchange fee totaling 50 USD assessed. When the renter returns to Costa Rica, the same process applies plus an additional 50 USD exchange fee. Renters not planning to return to Costa Rica must notify the rental location in Costa Rica when prearranging the vehicle exchange.
Collision Damage Waiver–Theft Protection CDW-TP is not insurance. The purchase of CDW is mandatory and is required in order to rent a vehicle. This coverage combined with Primary Liability Insurance conform the Mandatory Basic Protection. Payment of deductibles apply. CDW-TP is mandatory unless renters credit card has CDW coverage.
In order to decline CDW-TP, proof of credit card coverage is required. If CDW-TP is declined, renter is responsible for the full value of damage to the vehicle. If you purchase CDW-TP, we agree, subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate CDW, to contractually waive your responsibility for all or part of the cost of damage to, loss or theft of the vehicle. A CDW-TP deductible of USD 2000 apply. In order to confirm if Credit Card Insurance allows client to decline CDW-TP, a call to the Bank may be required.

All one way rentals must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. One way charges apply and are payable at the time of rental. One way charges cannot be prepaid.
Collision Damage Waiver- Theft Protection (CDW-TP) is not insurance. The purchase of CDW-TP is optional and not required to rent a vehicle. If you purchase CDW-TP, the rental company contractually waives your responsibilityfor all or part of the cost of damage to, loss or theft of the vehicle during the rental period in Costa Rica, after the deductible, unless you invalidate the coverage as provided in the rental agreement.
A deductible of up to $1,500.00 USD for CDW depending on car class, and a deductible of $2,000.00 USD for Theft Protection will apply.
Please be aware that most auto insurance policies from outside Costa Rica do not provide coverage in Costa Rica. Employees of the local rental car company are not qualified to evaluate the adequacy of the customers personal auto insurance coverage. The renter should contact their insurance company prior to arrival with any questions regarding their specific coverage. CDW-TP is included in the Enterprise Protection Package (EPP). If the renter declines both CDW-TP and EPP, the renter is responsible for the full value of damage to or loss of the vehicle.
Enterprise Protection Package (EPP) is a package product which includes Collision Damage Waiver - Theft Protection (CDW-TP), Tire and Windshield Protection (TWP), Deductible Protection (DP) and Third Party Liability (TPL) at a discounted price. EPP is not insurance. If you purchase EPP, the rental company contractually waives your responsibility for the cost of damage to, loss or theft of the vehicle, and up to the policy limits for damages and injuries to third parties during the rental period in Costa Rica, subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate the coverage as described in the rental agreement.

As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel.
Option 1 Prepay Fuel
This option allows the renter to pay for the full tank of gas at the time of rental and return the tank empty. No refunds will be issued for unused gas. Prepaid gas is available at 5 percent less than the local fuel prices
Option 2 We Refill
This option allows the renter to pay Enterprise at the end of the rental for gas used but not replaced. Price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices. A 50 percent surcharge will apply.
Option 3 You Refill
This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas to avoid extra fuel charges.
Special Coverage SP, Covers bodily injuries and damages to the rented vehicle and third parties in cases of accident, fire, theft, robbery, total loss. The Super Protection will cover - 1. Passengers of the rented vehicle, coverage of bodily injuries to passengers of the rented vehicle up to the limit of 10,000.00 USD per passenger, 2. Third Parties, Coverage up to 30,000.00 USD for damages and up to 50,000.00 USD for bodily injuries. 3. Damages to the rented vehicle in case of accident, fire, theft, robbery and total loss. It does not cover damages to the windshield, tires and accessories of the rented vehicle. Deductible applies and caries from 300.00 USD to 500.00 USD, depending on the vehicle class.
Supplementary Liability Coverage SLC, the purchase of Supplemental Liability Coverage SLC, is mandatory unless Collision Damage waiver is purchased.
SLC covers the clients liability to third parties resulting from auto accident in rented vehicle for property damage, other than to the rental vehcile, up to 11,000.00 USD
SLC also provides accidental death and medical expense benefits resulting from an accident for the amount established by a Costa Rican court of up to 90,000.00 USD per person and up to 225,000.00 USD per accident for third parties.
SLC does not cover the renter, relatives, any immediate household members, nor other passengers in the rental vehicle.
SLC has a 250.00 USD deductible. SLC is only mandatory if Collision Damage is declined.
Tire and Windshield Protection TWP,
Tire and Windshield Protection waives customers liability in the event of damge to tires, windshield or widows.
ZERO RISK PACK is a protection product that includes CDW, TP AND TWP. This product reduces the excess to zero for the following, damage if caused by accident, fire or vandalism, theft or attempted theft of the rental vehicle or any of its parts. The purchase of TP, Theft Protection and CDW, Collision Damage Waiver is required for renters to qualify for this product. The Daily fee excludes local taxes and surcharges and Third Party Liability excess and administration costs are reduced to zero. In cases of violation such as the use of alcohol, drugs or any other misuse as stated in the Terms and Conditions, the renter is responsible for full value of the damage. In case of negligence such as not having taken measures to ensure the rental vehicles safety and security. The renter is also responsible for the full value of the loss.
Deductible Protection - DP - may be purchased as an additional protection along with the CDW and TP. DP will reduce the renters Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection deductible to 0 USD.
Enterprise Plus customers can earn points on qualifying rentals at this location. Redemption of points is not available at this location.
Emerald Club customers can earn credits on qualifying rentals at this location. Redemption of free days is not available at this location. Note: Emerald Club members can earn credits at National and Enterprise brand locations.
A reservation must be booked in advance, and have the member number attached, in order to earn credit/points.
A passport in addition to a credit card, with available credit and in the renters name, must be presented. The signature on the back must match the name imprinted on the card. In addition, if the renter has an online transaction, the number and name printed on the card presented by renter must match the name and number stored for the online transaction.

An authorization on the credit card in the amount of 1000 USD will be taken at the time of rental. This authorization amount may be used toward damages of vehicles or late charges. In case that customer declined LDW, the amount hold on credit card will be 2000,00 USD plus estimated of rental.
Debit or check cards are considered to be any non-credit card American Express, MasterCard, VISA, Diners Club, Discover logo. Debit or Check cards are not accepted at this location.
Cash is not acccepted at this location.
Available 24 hours- Customer must call 506-2242-7733. In case of accident, customer must complete a police report at time of accident and must report accident to the Enterprise location.
Must meet the locations minimum age requirements. Present a valid drivers license. Present a major credit card in the renters name at the time of rental.
The purchase of Suplementary Liability Coverage -SLC- is always mandatory. It can not be declined by any Credit Card. The SLC deductible is 20 Percent of total damages to the third party property. SLC is only valid when rental vehicle is in Costa Rica.This coverage combined with Collition Damage Waiver-Theft Protection conform the Mandatory basic protection. Payment of deductible apply. SLC provides you with minimum financial responsibility limits as outlined in the applicable motor vehicle financial responsibility laws of the country where the vehicle is operated. SLC covers Ambulance Service, Doctors, Hospitalization and Nurses for third parties with a maximum limit of 230,000 USD per event.
Toll pass devices are available at the locations for an additional daily fee. The toll pass allows the customer to breeze through the toll facilities. Just drive thru and take the "fast" lane.
Third Party Liability (TPL) The purchase of Third Party Liability (TPL) is required by the rental location on all vehicles unless you provide proof of liability coverage or purchase the Enterprise Protection Package (EPP), which includes TPL.
Customers can obtain coverage for damages and injuries to third parties under the local rental car company's insurance by purchasing its TPL protection, and such a purchase is required unless the customer presents valid written proof of current liability insurance specifying coverage in Costa Rica or if the customer purchases Enterprise Protection Package (EPP) which includes TPL. TPL provides coverage for incidents which occur during the rental period in Costa Rica. TPL coverage is subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate the coverage as described in the rental agreement. A maximum deductible of 5,000 USD will apply. The minimum deductible is 250 USD
Please be aware that most auto insurance policies from outside Costa Rica do not provide coverage in Costa Rica. Liability insurance purchased on third party travel websites and insurance that accompanies US credit or debit cards are not acceptable forms of coverage. Employees of the local rental car company are not qualified to evaluate the adequacy of the customer's personal auto insurance coverage.
